Several of us helped put up Rick K0JWI’s vertical antenna this afternoon. Here are photos and videos. In addition to Rick the crew consisted of Joe N0SD, Rich KE0EPY, Mike K0ATY and Dave N0DL. The vertical checked out fine. It may need a little adjusting to minimize SWR on some of the bands but Dave made a CW contact with W1AW/4 and got a 599 report.
The August 2026 LARK meeting was held on Thursday, August 27th at 7:00pm at the Watertown Salvation Army hall. Eric W0YB gave a presentation: 10 Historical Questions and their significance (PowerPoint). The September 2026 LARK meeting will be held on Thursday, September 24th at 6:30pm at Perkins Restaurant in Watertown. This is a special dinner meeting and will include a presentation of the club’s 75th ARRL membership anniversary.

Members, guests, friends, and any interested persons are invited to Hy-Vee on East HWY 212 (1320 9th Ave SE) for a casual no-host coffee / breakfast gathering. Everyone is welcome!
LARK business meetings take place at 7pm on the last Thursday of each month except when this conflicts with a major holiday. We meet at the Watertown Salvation Army except for scheduling conflicts. The meetings are also available by invitation via Zoom. Contact Kevin, KB0LCR if you need a meeting invitation.
