The March 2026 LARK meeting is set for Thursday, March 26th at 7:30pm and is expected to be held at the Watertown Salvation Army (our usual meeting location, located NW of the in-town McDonald’s). All are welcome. We will decide whether to change the regular meeting time a half-hour earlier, to 7pm. If you have strong feelings about this, please attend to make your thoughts known, either in person or via Zoom.
WPX “Open Shack” at Joe, N0SD‘s QTH, Saturday March 28th
Here’s a note from Joe:
…Saturday, March 28th. I am going to open my shack for the afternoon, so anyone interested in seeing it is welcome to stop by.
We will be running a multi-op station in the CQ WPX contest. The station will be configured like what we do for phone at Field Day. Everyone is welcome to stop by and do some operating as well as learn about the software, the radios, and how we plan to do it. If you have never done anything like this, here is your chance with experienced coaches to guide you in a very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is welcome to just come by and visit as well. It’s ‘training/practice’ session that should be fun as well. We are doing it in ‘open house’ fashion which means come by when you want and stay as long as you like between noon and 5:00 PM.
The only catch is my shack is in the basement of my home so, there is a flight of well-lit stairs you will have to navigate. We will also wander around the back yard to discuss antennas a little bit. The antennas will be my existing antennas and not one of the club’s trailers.

Members, guests, friends, and any interested persons are invited to Hy-Vee on East HWY 212 (1320 9th Ave SE) for a casual no-host coffee / breakfast gathering. Everyone is welcome!
LARK business meetings take place on the last Thursday of each month except when this conflicts with a major holiday. We meet at the Watertown Salvation Army except for scheduling conflicts. The meetings are also available by invitation via Zoom.
